Since Spring 2024, I have been teaching at ASU's Design School at the Media and Immersive Experience (MIX) Center, focusing on advanced computational and digital design. My courses explore the intersection of architecture, immersive media, and emerging technologies, emphasizing experimental workflows that integrate spatial computation, material systems, and interactive visualization within immersive design environments.

Fall 2019 - Present
Since Fall 2019, I have taught graduate studios in sustainable and computational design at FIU Architecture, including advanced computational seminars and an independent study that won 2nd Place in the 2020 EPA RainWorks Challenge. I have also advised Doctor of Design candidates and co-advised interdisciplinary capstone teams in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in collaboration with Drs. Wilmer Arellano and Masoud Sadjadi.

Summer 2019
In Summer 2019, I led the "Map to Measure / Measure to Map" studio at Cornell University's College of Architecture, Art, and Planning (AAP) in New York City. This three-week intensive explored the intersections of spatial analysis, environmental sensing, and urban representation, guiding students in translating real-world measurements and contextual data into architectural and cartographic narratives.

From 2011 to 2017, I co-taught "Approaching Convergence" at Columbia University GSAPP, a Visual Studies course exploring environmental data visualization and design integration. The studio introduced students to advanced GIS, GPS, and sensing technologies for urban and architectural analysis, emphasizing novel methods for acquiring, visualizing, and interpreting environmental data through computational and representational design workflows.

From 2017 to 2019, I co-taught summer courses at Tongji University CAUP. The courses focused on spatio-temporal aerial mapping of urban environments using drones, sensors, and Mixed Reality visualization tools, introducing students to urban environmental mapping frameworks and examining how morphology, vegetation, and topography influence microclimates through hands-on data collection and analysis.

In Fall 2018, I led the "Geodesign: GIS and Data-Enriched Design" workshop at SCI-Arc, introducing students to geodesign as a framework for data-informed architectural decision-making. Through lectures and hands-on exercises, participants explored GIS-based spatial analysis, time-based visualization, and site-specific data interpretation to develop short video narratives connecting urban parameters and design strategy.
